Outside Dining

Atmosphere

With the warm and inviting feel of a European brasserie, TUCKER occupies a building that went up in 1946 and served as a showroom in 1947 for the legendary American automobile of the same name.

The restaurant's cozy atmosphere pays homage to its historic site, with unique architectural elements including:

  • A massive bar salvaged from The Baker Hotel in Dallas, circa 1920

  • An expansive 27-foot wood bar top that originally served as the dance floor of a University Park home

  • Two 14-foot long railway benches that were originally housed in Chicago's LaSalle St. train station

  • A circa 1890 safe that housed Winchester rifles

  • Wainscoting and cabinetry from a Paris, Texas estate built in 1890

  • A roaring fireplace that once warmed a 1920's mansion on Abrams Road in Dallas

Tucker received the award for "Best Fireside Dining" in Dallas by the 6th Annual Best of Citysearch Awards in 2005.

A spot for every mood and occasion

Unwind over drinks and wood fired pizza. Relax in the garden with friends and delicious entrees. We pride ourselves on service that is friendly and attentive without being intrusive. At TUCKER, our guests are welcome to enjoy several options for dining from our main seating area to the outdoor courtyard lined with aromatic herb plants and a roaring outdoor fireplace. And, when the occasion calls for a grand space for entertaining, we offer a separate banquet facility that can accommodate large groups in style and comfort.

Whether you sit at the bar and sip a selection from our wine list, kick back on the patio or dance the night away in our banquet room, you'll feel right at home at TUCKER.
